FAQ
Everything You Need to Know
Find answers to common questions about our patent-pending lab coat technology, sizing, care instructions, and ordering process.
What is MEMs?+
MEMs stands for Monneah's Engineered Materials, LLC. We design protective textiles, starting with lab coats, for protection, comfort, and a look people will wear.
What makes MEMs lab coats different from traditional lab coats?+
MEMs lab coats use a patent-pending nanofiber textile, with sizes from XS to 6XL and a couture cut. The public method today is an acetic acid SOP that follows ASTM F903-18. A broader chemical-resistance panel is not posted yet.
Are MEMs lab coats suitable for all laboratory environments?+
No. The posted SOP covers an acetic acid method (ASTM F903-18). The coat is not rated here for flame, biohazard, or every chemical. Confirm the hazard in your lab before you buy.
How do I know which size to order?+
Sizes run XS through 6XL. A measurement chart is not published yet. On the order form, enter how many coats you need in each size, and we confirm fit before production.
Do you offer customization options for lab coats?+
Company logo embroidery is available on the order form. We do not cut coats to exact body measurements.
Can I place a bulk order for my lab or university?+
Yes. We work B2B only, with a 25-unit minimum. Request a bulk quote with your quantity and timeline.
