Why Cool Nerds on the Rise?
Cool Nerds on the Rise is an innovative youth education program designed to engage elementary through high school students in the exciting world of chemistry through hands on experiments. Our program specifically targets underrepresented minorities, aiming to bridge the diversity, equity, and inclusion gap in STEM fields.

Purpose
Cool Nerds on the Rise is dedicated to bridging the STEM education gap for underrepresented minorities. Through our three U’s Unique, Ultra, and Undaunted we encourage students to explore new frontiers, stay true to their individuality, and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.

Changing the Face of STEM
Cool Nerds on the Rise empowers middle and high school students particularly those from underrepresented minority communities to explore and engage with the field of chemistry through interactive, hands on experiments.
We aim to cultivate a generation of students who are not only skilled in chemistry, but also equipped with the entrepreneurial spirit to apply their talents in transformative ways.

Cool Nerds on the Rise operates through a partnership based model, delivering our programming within schools, community organizations, and partner facilities rather than a single fixed location. This means we come to the students.
